The integrated Search Engine of Dynamic Intranet allows users to search all structured and unstructured information assets. The search is based on an index catalog. This catalog is automatically updated anytime when information is added or updated and provides instantaneous search results even from hundred thousands of documents and records. The search catalog includes document properties and full text for unstructured data (files) and all text fields from structured data (database records).

The Search engine provides also reports for the analysis of all executed searches. These search reports are a powerful tool for the optimization of the content and structure of the whole Intranet. Especially the failed searches and the unsuccessful searches reports provide valuable information about content missing in the Intranet. The failed searches reports lists all search terms where no content was found at all and the unsuccessful searches report lists all searches where a result was found but the user did not open any of the documents. The data of theses reports empower the content managers to know and provide the information the user are really looking for.


Key Features
Search
Full text search is available for Word documents, Excel sheets, PowerPoint presentations, Acrobat PDF files, text files and HTML documents. Employees only see matching documents when they have access permission.

Search Analytics
Detailed information about an employee's search activities. For example, "Failed Searches" lists search terms that had no results. This helps content managers to add missing information that employees couldn't find. 


Secure Search
Search results are filtered based on the employee's permission level. 


Discovery
Right beside the search results related tags, people and communities are shown allowing to refine the search and to discover the context.
